How it Works
Year 1-4
Students become LIT members who are part of a "cohort" based on their grade-level. Cohorts become families who push each other, believe in one another and accomplish goals together. Students meet after school weekly based on their cohort and participate in leadership, identity and critical consciousness training. In all years of the HS program students participate in the following:
- Biweekly grade checks
- Bimonthly family potlucks
- Annual events like our camping trip, out-of-state college visits, holiday parties & senior scholarship celebrations
High School Program
